# Lil Reps
## TL;DR
Lil Reps is a community-elected group that helps with the deployment of Nouns capital and improves the presence of the Lil Nouns DAO. It has gathered feedback from the community and is proposing changes to its structure, including an override vote for the community to override the votes cast by Lil Reps and a reset at the end of each epoch where the mandate is re-evaluated and put to a vote. Lil Reps also gathers feedback and makes changes based on that feedback at the end of each epoch. Membership in Lil Reps requires attendance at Prop Culture and meetings, voting on Nouns Prop House rounds, and helping builders put proposals on Nouns DAO, with 80% attendance required per month. Members are rotated every month and are expected to include a performance report at the end of their term.

## Introduction
Lil Reps is a mandated body by Lil Nouns. It has a rotating, community-elected mandate. Its current mandate is to help in the deployment of Nouns capital and improve the presence of Lil Nouns DAO.

In this proposal, Lil Reps would like to take a look back at its formation and pivots, and look toward its future by taking feedback and making changes to its structure.

## In Retrospect
Lil Reps started as 'Lil Nouncil', a voting body to help Lil Nouns proposals meet quorum. The subject of voting and governance was quite contentious and did not align with the ethos of helping builders. After discussing its structure (all discussions were public in Lil Nouns Discord), Lil Reps decided it is best to let the community vote on its mandate. On DATE Lil Reps put out its [first snapshot proposal](https://snapshot.org/#/lilnouncil.eth/proposal/0xf0dbd9497906d05294726a8c7106450bcf3991f6131c29a498ebd6aa2a7edd10).

Creating the subDAO pod – whose mandate is to vote on Prop House proposals – was challenging as there was little to no response. Members of Lil Reps reconvened and discussed next steps.

To further expand Lil Nouns presence, Lil Reps decided to move forward with its mandate and began work in improving Prop House capital allocation while improving the presence of Lil Nouns in the Nouniverse.

Every Friday, Lil Reps went on Prop Culture – a weekly Twitter Spaces series hosted by Toady – to meet Prop House builders and listened to their proposal(s). The Reps then casted their vote in [Lil Nouns Discord](https://discord.com/channels/954142017556979752/1023709024199389205). The proposal with the most votes are sent to League of Lils who are in charge of casting the votes on Prop House. Lil Reps did not have direct control of Lil Nouns’ Noun holdings.

Each Lil Reps member will vote based on their own parameters. However, a prevailing voting pattern has been that Reps prioritize builders who have shown up on Prop Culture to discuss their proposals.

Since inception, Lil Reps has been engaging with Prop House builders, as well as initiating and maintaining a Lil Nouns’ voting streak on Nouns Prop House. Through Lil Reps, Lil Nouns DAO was able to, for the first time, mobilize its Nouns holdings to improve Prop House capital allocation by voting on Nouns Prop House. In doing so, improve Lil Nouns presence in the Nouniverse.

## In Prospect
Lil Reps has been gathering feedback from the Lil Nouns community. Find below proposed changes to its structure:

### Override
For each Prop House voting round, Lil Reps will hold a 24-hour Override vote for the community to override the votes casted by Lil Reps.

To remove operational friction, Override voting will take place on Discord as soon as Reps cast their votes. A quorum will be decided based the amount of active discord participants.

### Reset
- At the end of every Epoch (3 months), Lil Reps will present their work and ask the community if it would like Lil Reps to change its mandate.

### Lil Reps Mandate
- Vote on prop house rounds (for smaller eth rounds, vote for top 1, larger eth rounds, vote for top 2);
- Help builders put proposals on Nouns DAO;

Lil Reps' mandate is re-evaluated, and put up to a community vote every Epoch (3 months). Members are expected to include a performance report of the previous epoch to give a sense of continuity of how they have been actualizing the mandate.

### Feedback
- Lil Reps gather feedback on their custom-built [Addressboard](https://www.addressform.io/board/30d93530-b02d-401b-b40e-ccd944a82e1b).
- At the end of each Epoch, Lil Reps include changes to its structure based on feedback and put it to a vote.

### Membership
#### Member Role and Responsibilities
- Attend Prop Culture on Friday;
- Vote on Nouns Prop House rounds;
- ~~Help builders put proposals on Nouns DAO.~~
- Help rally feedback for builders

#### Attendance
- 80% attendance on Prop Culture, meetings and work sessions required per month.

#### Re-election
- Members are rotated every month;
- At the end of their term, members present a short report that outlines their performance.

#### Compensation
- Each member will be compensated with 3 Lil Nouns per month

### Prop Culture
- Prop Culture is a weekly Twitter Space on Noun Square hosted by Toady. In the event, guests with active proposals on Nouns DAO and Prop House are invited, Lil Reps then share their thoughts and feedback.
- As a public facing forum, Prop Culture has played an instrumental role in the success of Lil Reps. Through its 4 week implementation, Prop Culture has become the go-to event for garnering presence in the Nouniverse. The motto has become, "we have 13 Nouns, talk to us about what you are working on."

#### Compensation
- With due consideration of market conditions, Toady will be compensated 0.5 ETH per episode. This is lower than the previous amount (1 ETH + 8 Lil Nouns) and does little justice to the kind of high quality work Toady does.

### Total Expense of Lil Reps
- 5 members, each receiving 3 Lil Nouns per month;
- 15 Lil Nouns/month.
- Toady, host of Prop Culture, receiving 0.5 ETH per episode.
- 2 ETH/month

**MONTHLY TOTAL**: 15 Lil Nouns, and 2 ETH
**EPOCH TOTAL**: 45 Lil Nouns, and 6 ETH
