# EZPZ Daggerfall DREAM

This is Bobbah's quick guide:tm: to set up The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall with DaggerfallUnity + DREAM + the recommended mods for DREAM.

Don't change any of the settings under Advanced Settings or Mod Settings once you're ingame OTHER THAN resolution / fullscreen. Everything else has been configured to meet the spec of the modpack and changing the settings may negatively impact your experience.

## Downloads

The passwords for all the archives below is ``lepi``

## Installing

1. Download Daggerfall on STEAM (it's free!!): [The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1812390/The_Elder_Scrolls_II_Daggerfall/)
2. Extract archive 1 (``0.15.3-beta-DREAM.7z``) to a location of your choice, I recommend ``C:\DaggerfallUnity\0.15.3-beta\`` as that is what I use.

3. Extract archive 2 (``0.15.3-beta-DREAM-appdata.7z``) to ``C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Daggerfall Workshop\Daggerfall Unity`` **Pay attention to make sure the folder names are right!!**

5. Now go to your STEAM library and edit the properties of Daggerfall. Set your launch options to point to the DaggerfallUnity exe. Example: ``"C:\DaggerfallUnity\0.15.3-beta\DaggerfallUnity.exe" %command%`` -- Note that the quotation marks around the full path and the ``%command%`` bit at the end are important. On launch just set it to fullscreen and set it to not ask again, it has no impact.

6. Launch Daggerfall, you'll possibly need to change the resolution in-game (alternatively can edit it in the settings file in appdata if necessary) but other than that you should be good to go as you copied the config I have in archive 2.

## NVIDIA Configuration


Helpful tip: I had to add the exe using the 'Add' button at the top of the NVIDIA control center's 3d graphics settings page to get it to appear, it didn't show up by default.
