- Turing Fellow since QMUL joined Turing. Member of the Skills Group at the Turing.
- Senior Lecturer in Information Management. Research focused on data in organisations including government.
- Working on data capabilities in organisations and data readiness.
- MF action: Introduction to Office for AI skills framework development team.

- Based in Medical school. Diversification to data science education.
- EPSRC RSE Fellow - project of work about being an ambassador for better software in research, upskilling researchers in undertaking this work.
- Project: grown from local observation. Exeter DS education activity across full spectrum of disciplines. Not just preserve of Maths and Comp. Uni structure means modules and programmes are developed in-house with very little cross-talk - difficult to share best practices.
- MF action: Introduction to POST colleagues interested in pedagogy across disciplines.

- [name= Sue Turner]: 50% not for profit, 50% private background. Frustrated that data is trapped in silos, background in non-STEM subjects / taken data science conversion masters.
- [name= Cath Sleeman]: Head of Data Science at Nesta, focus on improving labour market information in closing skills gaps, identifying gaps e.g. pathways/movement between careers. Open Jobs Observatory - scraping job ads daily. 3 strands at Nesta (healthy life, a fairer start, sustainable future).
