Member of the Skills Group at the Turing. - Senior Lecturer in Information Management. Research focused on data in organisations including government. - Working on data capabilities in organisations and data readiness. - MF action: Introduction to Office for AI skills framework development team. - [name= Emma] - Senior Community Manager at Turing. Turing Way Core Team. - Address research gap on role descriptors for data science infrastructure roles - [name= Eilis] - Genetics / biohealth / mat - Based in Medical school. Diversification to data science education. - EPSRC RSE Fellow - project of work about being an ambassador for better software in research, upskilling researchers in undertaking this work. - Project: grown from local observation. Exeter DS education activity across full spectrum of disciplines. Not just preserve of Maths and Comp. Frustrated that data is trapped in silos, background in non-STEM subjects / taken data science conversion masters. - [name= Cath Sleeman]: Head of Data Science at Nesta, focus on improving labour market information in closing skills gaps, identifying gaps e.g. pathways/movement between careers.
