# Pantavisor 013 Release
Thanks to the Pantacor Engineering team and the community we are happy to announce the availability of the 13th release in the series of Pantavisor releases.
Pantavisor 013 is latest installment of our tiny system state and container engine that powers the heart of distributed edge compute.
Pantavisor can run on anything Linux, starting from 16MB of NAND flash as (still) found on todays low-end wifi routers and, of course, big and mission critical systems that are powered by linux.
With Pantavisor, Pantacor delivers a missing piece to the Linux embedded industry so they can grow the tooling and practices needed to catch up on the velocity and effectiveness of developing software for the embedded edge.
## Highlights
Pantavisor 013 comes loaded with many advanced features that will make the life of the embedded system engineer and those who operate devices much easier.'
Here a few hand picked ones for your to tease:
* Pantavisor state engine got a refresh and amongst other thigns now supports zero-reboot updates for adding/upgrading and removing app containers
* Pantavisor offers the ability to not only mount shared volumes to multiple containers, but also to export directories of containers so other container can collaborate through file system interactions.
* Pantavisor offers the ability to plug in third party login and registration providers and we use this to offer TPM based onboarding using SDO's unique onboarding protocol.
* Pantavisor can now seed factory device meta that an be put on main storage
* Pantavisor automatically grows disk usage (if wanted) on ext4 based systems
* Pantavisor distribution by default offers ability to see oem configs that get passed to kernel command line on boot thorugh a special binary OEM partition
## New BSPs
Also we are happy to welcome a growing number of cool ARM based platforms, for now we have added the following BSPs:
* Toradex iMX6 support including the low spec Toradex iMx.6ULL colibri board
* Banana Pi R64 as a need router platform - and we offer both our traditional wifi connect based network platform as well as a build with mainline openwrt.
* Raspberry Pi 64-bit support - finally we ship a 64-bit image that can power Rpi3 and Rpi4.
A complete list of BSPs that have ready to install images can be found on our download page:

## New Wifi-Connect Experience
One of the main updates we did to our core containers is to wifi-connect. We have invested in making basic WPA-EAP working as well as offering the ability to theme wifi-connect to match your product identity.
Give our latest images for raspberry Pi a try to see it in action.
## New Personalized images
One of the entry barriers that new developers complained about was the need to assoicate our generic developer images with their pantahub account through a well streamlined, but still not trivial pairing process we call "claiming".
While claiming your device by extracting a challenge from your device is still supported, we now also offer the ability to download images that automatically will be paired with your account.
To experience this new convenience simply head to https://hub.pantacor.com/download-image and select the deivce/image you want to download. Almost all platforms we support already are working this way and the rest will hopefully happen in time for the next release.
## Known Issues
Only issue reported is that our Malta image accidentially grow too big to allow any meaningful updates. This was fixed in our latest channels so if you download the latest "release-candidate" image you can already work around this.
## Download
To retrieve current generic developer images head to: https://docs.pantahub.com/initial-images/ and download the image for your platform.
To retrieve current image with personal credentials baked in (so it automatically gets associated with your account), select your platform of choise and "stable" channel on the personalized image download page in Pantacor Hub: https://hub.pantacor.com/download-image (must be logged in).
## Getting Started
If you are looking for first steps, we recommend you to follow our Getting Started guide https://docs.pantahub.com/get-started/
## Support
Please use reddit for general support requests that get answered in the community or chat with us on hub.pantacor.com if you want to establish a more commerical based support channel. Also a mail to team@pantacor.com will do.
