# Digital Twin Working Group Plan

## Group Goals

- Define a standardized specification for how digital twins should be built to both enable easier sharing of work as well as standardized tools for developers to use
- A secondary goal which naturally comes out of the first goal is to design a system so that outside stakeholders also find it easy to use and understand a digital twin
- Output 1: Documentation/guides on the digital twin process
- Output 2: Digital twin software to support developers

## Broad Focus Areas:

- Data architecture
- Digital twin as an object-oriented class
- Model specific documentation + graphics tools
- Digital twin testing frameworks
- Best practices for stochastic fit and building out randomness for the extrapolation phase
- Improvement of the report writing process (for example making a function to wrap the pieces of the report process)

## Short Term Plans

- Set up a JIRA board for tasks (volunteer basis for anyone who has the time to help)
- Schedule a call for every two weeks to discuss progress and continue this work
- Begin iterating on data architecture first
- Sean tries writing proof of concept materials + software to show how we might think about it and presents to group for discussion
