For 90 days (March 16 - June 13, 2025), we invite four extraordinary individuals to join us in bridging the material and metaphysical, the technological and spiritual, the ancient and the yet-to-come. This is not just a residency – it's an alchemical experiment. Here, among mountains that have witnessed millennia of human dreams, we'll explore consciousness evolution, fringe science, warp physics, and the emerging post-web (postweb.nexus). We seek those who believe in manifesting a world of wonder, resilience, peace, and liberation – visionaries who understand that true innovation must be rooted in spiritual wisdom. Nestled in the Cretan landscape, our compound exists in superposition of past, present, and future. Mornings can be spent developing new knowledge protocols, evenings stargazing from our rooftop, and weekends exploring ancient Greek and Minoan sites. If at least three of the above *deeply resonates*, continue reading more details about the program below. ### Logistics * Residents will either decide to operate more fully independently (yet sharing a monthly knowledge share on one's field of research), or establish a co-creative structure and program. For those interested in co-creation, we will initially convene at one virtual planning meeting scheduled sometime from March 6th to March 10th 2025. * For those opting into co-creating a group project, the expectation is to reserve 30% of one's time to the group project and 70% to independent projects. * There is room for 4 other people, with a sliding scale suggested energy exchange of $300-$1000/month each, based on personal economic situation, to help support utilities, rent, and operational costs. * It's possible to support a few more residents if one has a car they want to bring or is willing to rent or lease another car for the period. Couples are welcome as well, but partners need to also be interested in the program and need to submit independent applications. * The minimum contribution of $300/month covers cleaning, grocery, gas, utility, and administrative labor. * Residents are expected to cover their own travel costs to get to Crete and arrive on the same day on March 16th. ### Vibe and Setting Skylab01 has a six bedroom compound in a remote mountain village on the island of Crete, a 90 minute drive from Chania or Heraklion. The compound has 4 levels: - Garden level (0): Large outdoor area for gardening or art projects - Residence (1): independent 3bed, 2ba unit - Residence (2): independent 3bed, 2ba unit - Rooftop (3): The rooftop is so amazing, but we need some furniture, shade, some stargazing tents, and a telescope ideally :) The village has no restaurants or grocery stores, so residents should be comfortable spending the majority of the time at the residence, sharing cooking and grocery run duties. Ideal residents are seeking a monastic-like, quiet and peaceful atmosphere where we keep to ourselves and are not very talkative during agreed upon hours, yet share conversation during meals or group activities. A car is available for occasional trips to ancient Minoan and Greek sites, Greek Orthodox monasteries, beaches, hikes, and meals outside the house. Should we have the appetite, we can decide to collectively plan one unique full day excursion every week or every other week, sites and locations that may be further out, e.g. 1-3 hours away. The property is pictured at the top of this document. On a scale of 1-10, how much do you believe in your power to manifest whatever your heart desires?** Where 1 is "I believe in manifestation, but my default mentality is pessimistic, I generally feel untrustworthy of others and my own power for contributing to systemic change", where 5 is "I am oozing with powers that I don't know what to do with", and where 10 is "I am oozing with powers and my timeline is so clear". Can I come for a shorter period as a guest? Priority will be given to residents who can stay for the entire three month period. If you are able to rent a car, we can make room for short-term guests. We ask that if you are applying as a guest, that you come with the intention of sharing knowledge, such as organizing a workshop, excursion, or lecture series.
