# 2019-Dec-21, Marketing key updates
- Alpha version can be installed by anyone - we will start sharing with friends and family this week. There's one extra step that's needed. Let me know which version you're using and I'll point you in the right way (we need to write a guide this week)
- We're looking to launch a public beta by Friday, Jan 3. This will be available in the app stores.
- We have kept in contact with the team at The Great Hack (the documentary). They love the tool and have started trying it internally. They're excited to partner with us and have been shortlisted for the best documentary Oscar. I think this will be a great opportunity to tie awareness together. We want to host / sponsor screenings all over the world to help in the Oscar push and also provide Spring as a real action people can do after the movie. We will pitch a partnership proposal the week of Jan 13th. Open to ideas and help here!
- Sean will finalize the list of priority media by Dec 25th. Gavin and John can start pushing on the journalist outreach side. We are targeting first interviews, meetings for mid Jan.
- We want to sharpen Bitmark's positioning to better match the Spring project as well as develop headlines and 3 target user profiles to focus on initially. Each of these are targeted for completion by Jan 8th.
