Not legal or accounting advice. This article is purely for educational purposes. Everyone's situation is different, so talk to a lawyer or accountant.
So you've started contributing to DAOs -- congrats! You've taken the first step into the world of the Web3 worker. While you might be getting paid in stable coins or magic internet money, it's still important to have a professionalized set up and protections for the meat-space you live in ever day. The first step to professionalization for many freelancers (Web2 and Web3 alike) is to setup an entity for their freelancing business.
What Kind of Entity Is Right For Me?
The first step to professionalizing is setting up an entity to separate your personal life from your professional life.
This separation between the personal and professional is most important because of "liability." In essense, if you don't have an entity that offers liability protection, if a client sues you, they can access your personal assets (i.e. house, car, etc.). If you have an LLC or corporation that you use for your business, if a client sues you, they're limited to the assets of your business, which might be minimal. Limiting your liability greatly de-risks your life. It's not that anyone expects you to do a bad job, but there are asshole clients out there and they shouldn't get a shot at your house. De-risking can be especially important for Web3 freelancers where their DAO's might not have an entity to help sheild them from liability and get them access to benefits.
What kind of entity is the best for your situation? That largely depends on what you're trying to accomplish. At Opolis, we think that an LLC that elects S-corp status is probably the best for many of our members. We'll unpack what that means later. Let's start with the basics.

Supply Recommendations
We halve token emissions every fix number of Epochs achieved -- either 10 or 20 based on further analysis. To do this we need to make sure that the halving schedule is clear and well communicated, so it can drive a reason to buy the token now, join the commons before a certain date. Make sure that the halvenings match up with member growth goals and incentives and potential profitability / distributions.
Explore a "play" token that is minted when people stake WORK or WORK LP tokens in a way that generates Play which might have a separate utility (wait until the main token has more support).
Demand Recommendations
Explore utility based mostly on coalition members or potential coalition members staking or burning tokens to post opportuntities within our Discord or a token gated site just for members. Also explore the possibility of members staking to list their skills / enter this ecosystem.

We're releasing a new way to crypto payroll this paycycle. So make sure that you go to your Opolis dashboard to pay for your payroll. Please don't use the old "relay wallet" any longer.
How the new system works
The new system is meant to be simpler, more reliable, and more secure. To accomplish these goals, we will now require all crypto payments to happen within our application.
To pay for your crypto payroll invoice, you'll log into your account at commons.opolis.co. On your dashboard you'll see crypto invoices, their due dates and amounts, and an orange "pay" button next to them. When you click the "pay" button you'll be taken to our crypto payroll app where you can attach your MetaMask, select the token for payment, and then click "pay." That's it!
We'll still send email reminders to go pay your crypto invoice, if you haven't already. But email reminders will no longer include the relay wallet where you could previously send funds. This new system requires you to pay through the commons.opolis.co app.
What about L2s and Other Tokens?

Submitted April 13, 2021 to UberHaus Delegate Mtg #1
Overview
Creating incentives is important to support the price of the HAUS token, keep people engaged in the HAUS ecosystem, and, especially, encourage active participation in UberHaus governance. To that end, we are proposing:
We commit another 3,600 HAUS to the LP and HAUS farms for next month and
Commit 10,200 HAUS towards governance rewards.

Humans are still pretty important, even in Web3. Below are the procedures for watching to make sure that the sponsor, vote, processing bots are operational and what to do if they go down.
Sign up below to be a human watcher.
Watching
The bot should be running every 2 minutes to sponsor new proposals, vote on them, and process anything that needs processing. The bot will ignore any proposals that do not meet the criteria (ie. from an address on our "know-your-dao" list and for an amount between 50-5000 wxDAI).

Background
The benefits of the Moloch framework over other more complex DAO frameworks are:
a relatively simple, single contract structure;
easy, accessible, and readable code;
flexibility within its focus on permissioned community coordination.
The idea behind the MiniMol is to explore a more miniturized version of Moloch with a focus on maintaining these three core strengths.
