The best laggon. You need to book in advance your entry time and have a 1h window to get there before you loose your spot. Once in you can basically stay as long as you want tho.

A nice lagoon experience but not as impressive as the Blue Lagoon IMHO. It is a lot closer to Reykjavik that you can go there using an electric scooter as I did :)

# Bars, pubs & restaurants

Spacious book shop carrying English & international titles, plus a small cafe with light fare. Also has live music on some nights. My favourite place.

It's nice, comfortable, clean and well located. The live music stops at 22:00-23:00 so even though my room was right above I wasn't bothered.

A whiskey bar with a large selection and a helpful staff to get advice from. Live music on the second floor were you can enjoy your drink.

- [ ] [Mama Reykjavik](http://mamareykjavik.is/) A Vegan restaurant I visited mostly out of curiosity. Chill place, staff is super nice and the soup was good.
- [ ] [Scandinavian](http://www.scandinavian.is/) A Danish food restaurant held by a young couple. The food was delicious, especially the pickled herring open sandwich which is an all time favourite of mine.
- [ ] [Grái kötturinn](https://www.graikotturinn.is/) Great place for breakfast. It is also very small and quite popular so get there early or be lucky.
