# NOUNISH FRIENDS ANSWERS 1. Would love to see indication of existing retail boutique willing to take in this toy as inventory for sale, we could we sitting on a inventory of 6000 toys (unsold). Getting any retailer, small boutique and mass (Barnes and Noble, FYE, or others to commit to an order we would need to have a hard delivery date, and a line plan for future items beyond just these minis or glasses alone. They need to see a robust group of products and samples in hand to give an unknown NFT brand valuable shelf space. There is zero market awareness of NOUNs and NFTS are kryptonite to buyers right now so we need to build awareness, send production samples and materials to attract the attention of buyers to consider putting these in stores. 2. Wish that marketing campaign for said toys could be clearer. We are trying to bring an unknown IP into a retail space that has no awareness and zero interest in NFTs so the marketing push will happen once we have production and samples secured, we will need to create unique sales materials and decks to showcase what nouns are to the world and convince the buyers to test the toys out. In some cases, we will need to ship cases of toys to them for free to see how they go before they can commit to an order. Once the toys are ready, we have lists of product reviewers and collectible press outlets to help us with proliferation and socials. 3. A smaller size run would be more appropriate if this is a proof-of-concept. This type of product has fixed costs for tooling logistics and production. These are always amortized in the order and usually a healthy small run of art toys like this is about 3000-5000sets X9 figures =27000-45000 pcs we are only making 666 sets=6000 pcs so there are no bankable profits at this stage as we are building awareness and proliferating the brand to a brand new mass audience. It is highly likely that if we suceeed we can get larger orders from retail partners in Japan through Davids efforts, Barnes and Noble (international) and Boxed lunch and FYE in the US but **our goal right now is to keep things small at first and build a story then grow**. The only reason we can make a small run like this at the level of quality that we are going for is based on our factory relationships and working contacts. 2 - If sold, a portion of the profit will be used to developed seriesWhy not reinvest 100% of the profit to develop series 2 given demand? It is unclear what the other portion of the profit will be used for, more details on this would be appreciated. Please see above, Just to be clear, There is no market or brand awareness for nouns as of yet outside of the NFTs and when people see pictures of people wearing our glasses. Many of these toys will need to be sent to retail partners at no cost to review, onboard buyers and retailers to help them discover NOUNs, DAOs and hopefully commit to orders, anything we sell will most likely be sold at a wholesale price (about $8 per unit approx. $70 per case of 9) even if we sell out so there will not be a huge treasury to reinvest considering the actual cost in time and labor to make all of the above things happen. If we are lucky and these sell out we can then start soliciting bigger POs and hopefully try rely less on DAO funding as we try to spin this into a sustainable global brand. Building a sustainable brand or takes years and while we are really good at doing many of these things they do take time and considerable set up costs. **** Anon Nouncillor voted AGAINST on Prop 287. $125k ask divided by 6,000 figurines = $21 for each 3" figurine. Oh, but then we sell them for $9 wholesale, so we're only losing $12 on each sale. Run from this proposal.** Please see above answers.
