# Solutions

Solarize tried to simplify the process and make it affordable by creating a simplified set of options. There are lots of things that are too complicated, too expensive/too much up front cost that we might be able to craft to meet a nice chunk of unmet needs:
* Electrifying existing bicycles (A large variety of different manufacturers/standards is hard to support so would want to reduce to a small set of options)
* Researching/making stable bikes (e.g. Trikes)
* Bike Share as standalone or in combination with other ideas (this has had quite a bit of support previously)
* Fully faired bicycles/trikes. (If built well the availability of relatively low-priced e-trikes could become an easy frame for covering for sun protection or fairing for wind/cold protection.)
* Kits as a simplified DIY process that more individuals would try or would make it easy for volunteers to run
