If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my Web3 journey, it’s that the space demands both resilience and speed. Weeks 5 and 6 at Web3Bridge drove that lesson home,not just through the code I wrote, but also through the Monday townhalls that reset my mindset and reminded me why I’m here.

# 2.0 Monday Townhalls: Therapy in Motion

Our weekly townhalls often feel like therapy sessions for developers navigating the grind.

**Week 5**
The founder reminded us with Romans 8:18 that the struggles we face now are temporary compared to the joy and freedom ahead. That perspective reframed the endless debugging and sleepless nights into something meaningful.

**Week 6**
The message was about excellence. In Web3, where code lives on immutable ledgers and a single vulnerability can cost millions, excellence isn’t optional—it’s survival. That challenge hit hard as we stepped into Smart Contract Week.

Week 5 was all about depth—peeling back layers to understand the inner workings of smart contracts:

* ERC-20 from Scratch & with OpenZeppelin → Writing the token standard line by line helped me appreciate why hardened libraries matter in production.

* ERC-721 (NFT Standard) → Realizing NFTs aren’t just about art but programmable ownership.

* Factory Contracts → Understanding scalability by creating contracts that deploy other contracts.

* Mainnet Forking with Uniswap V2 → Simulating real-world liquidity conditions, bridging theory with practice.

By the end of the week, I wasn’t just learning to code contracts,i was beginning to think like a protocol designer.

* Token-Gated DAO (ERC-7432) → Using NFTs with roles to enable governance.

* On-chain Lootbox → A playful project with real lessons on randomness, fairness, and trust.

* Dynamic SVG NFT Clock → An NFT that changes with real time via block.timestamp, showing NFTs as living canvases.

* Every project demanded research, resilience, and fresh problem-solving. By the end of the week, I wasn’t just writing Solidity—I was thinking in Solidity.
