# Radio
Radio buttons allow users to select an option from a set.
## Usage Guidelines
Radio buttons can be used when:
- Requiring a single option from a list (shorter than 4 elements)
- Options are mutually exclusive
[Order]
Whenever possible, order the radio buttons vertically for better readability
[Label placement]
For LTR languages, the label should be on the right and the radio icon on the left to avoid misaligned icons
### Writing Guidelines
- Radio buttons should not end in punctuation
- They should be introduced with a colon or a heading
