### Vlad

I’ve been building in web3 since 2016, with a focus on decentralized social media and creative communities. My path started at LBRY and Odysee, moved through Hive-based frontends, and now spans Farcaster, Nounspace, Skatehive, and Gnars ⌐◨-◨

Alongside building, I’ve worked in exchanges and DeFi protocols (including CoinEx and ShapeShift) as a marketing manager, giving me perspective on both community growth and product adoption at scale.

I’m obsessed with designing social systems where every interaction is a transaction, every influence is rewarded, and creators actually own their content through private keys. My stubbornness is my edge — I’ll figure out how to build anything if it strengthens community infrastructure.

I’ve contributed to tools for decentralized publishing, DAO governance, and Zora-powered creator economies, and I’m currently building across Builder DAO, Skatehive, Gnars, and Nounspace. At Devconnect I’m interested in hacking on experiments at the intersection of social protocols, DAOs, and onchain media.

Discovered ETH magic through Nouns in 2023, understood the possibilities of the technology and got fascinated. Met Vlad after a while and he introduced me to Skatehive and Gnars, where I started contributing with thoughts and open-source code. Last year I got into Farcaster and then Nounspace, where I also contributed with some code and ideas.

I'm a researcher with engineering skills. I can code, but my main passion is acquiring knowledge, and my main topics of research these days are AI Agents, Blockchain, and DAOs. I love high tech, philosophy, and occultism.

Now I'm at Balaji's Network School in Malaysia building a data engine for an AI-first health tech startup, while I keep contributing open-source code for Gnars. In my free time, I'm building a new version of the Gnars website using Builder DAO SDKs and planning to add the Zora Coin SDK to introduce a new form of income to the DAO treasury.

At Devconnect, I'm interested in pushing this development to production, giving Builder feedback about the SDKs and pair programming to build not only a website for Gnars, but a Next.js template for every DAO from Builder to fork. I'm also studying how to build AI functionalities that can help DAO members with voting, proposal evaluation, and development.

Vika is a UX/UI designer with a background in sociology, linguistics. ### Zima

I’ve been working at the intersections of art, fashion, and technology for the past years, as co-founder and product manager of Airdrop Culture Surf Brand, where I also acted as operations director. This journey brought me into the Surf Hive community within the Hive ecosystem, writing about surfing, environmental preservation, and upcycling including collaborations with Precious Plastic.

Later, I became an athlete at Gnars DAO and expanded my role into communications and branding, helping refine creative outputs and reporting through agile media, both onchain and online.
I’m currently building the Nogglesboard project decentralized, asymmetric surfboards for the Nouns DAO, in collaboration with artists, NFTs, public goods, and community-driven initiatives. This type of creative and integrated work fuels my motivation to keep building onchain every day.
I’ve also brought surf culture and handcrafted art onchain through NFTs, award-winning surf films, and action sports storytelling in a Nounish & Gnarly way, especially via Gnarly News on Paragraph, helping preserve this culture on the blockchain.

Creator of the Collab Skate Clip and Nogglesboard projects, he explores new visual languages that merge skateboarding, art, and decentralized communities, with a focus on sustainability and decentralized media.

#### Bio

I am Will Dias, a visual artist and professional skateboarder, with a career built at the intersection of urban culture and the onchain ecosystem. My journey began on Odysee and Hive in 2018, where I explored creative possibilities. This perspective led me to experiment with new visual languages, combining design and digital art.

Within Gnars DAO, I found a space to expand this approach and connect skate culture with decentralized communities. From this connection, some of my key projects emerged, such as:

Collab Skate Clip — a visual and cultural initiative that creates custom-designed skateboard decks in tribute to protocols, DAOs, and partners from the Nouns ecosystem, translating the spirit of onchain communities into physical, performative pieces.

Nogglesboard — a project I started in 2022 that transforms used decks into true works of art on wheels. Produced manually, the first Nogglesboards featured generative aesthetics, glitch effects, and vibrant colors, quickly capturing the community’s attention and circulating in artistic and cultural contexts.

Today, I continue to develop these initiatives as part of a path that bridges professionalism in skateboarding and decentralized media, artistic experimentation, and onchain collaboration. My work seeks to redefine creative expression within skate culture, while remaining committed to sustainability, community, and decentralization.

## Builder Protocol

Builder DAO ([BuilderOSS](https://github.com/BuilderOSS)) maintains an actively shipped monorepo for Nouns Builder with four tagged releases in July–August 2025, delivering L2/testnet support, proposal UX enhancements, and reliability improvements. The stack includes a published package ecosystem (@buildeross/* SDK, UI, hooks, analytics, blocklist, IPFS services) and multi-chain subgraphs deployed across Ethereum, Base, Optimism, and Zora (mainnet + Sepolia).

benedictvs mentored at Design Jam Bangkok, a two-day gathering of developers and researchers working on Web3 challenges. As lead of the EU-funded WID3+ Consortium, he gave junior hackers, builders, and UX designers a quick start on human-centric DeFi applications.


As part of the Grants & Impact Community Hub during Devcon SEA, benedictvs had the opportunity to engage with funders, grantees, and others involved in the Web3 grants ecosystem. Throughout four days at the hub, discussions focused on the state of Web3 grant programs, the challenges grantees face in navigating diverse funding criteria, and the best practices for designing transparent and effective grant programs. This hub provided an opportunity to connect with others working on similar problems and gain a better understanding of how Authbond can address some of the pain points within the ecosystem.

Last year in Bangkok, our community made waves with real-time mints, Farcaster reporting, live coverage, and creative documentation of underground culture. The energy carried beyond Devcon, highlighting how DAO infrastructure can power cultural and technical storytelling.

In Buenos Aires, we will continue this energy by combining a hacker house and mini-hackathon with curated media coverage, amplifying the stories of builders, skaters, and creatives while showcasing Builder Protocol as the social layer for DAOs, bounties, and partnerships.
