## Store of Value & Payments
### Behavior
- Using Bank account to receive salary and Credit Union to save money
- Takes out money from the Bank account and puts it in the Credit Union because of the higher interest rate
- Prefers Credit Union because it is easier to get a loan, interest rates are higher and every year you get dividends
- While trying to get a loan at the Credit Union got it at the same day, but at the bank was unable to
- Thinks that money is less at risk at the Bank or Credit Union, compared to home, where it's easier for it to be stolen
> When someone borrows money from me, I would prefer that they send it using online platform or going to the bank and transfer it to my account instead of having anything to do with cash.
- Saving regularly
- Doesn't have a tendency to carry a lot of cash in the wallet or to keep it in the house
- Believes there might be a tendency to spend cash faster and so prefers to use a card only if necessary
- Paying bills online, but is unable to transfer between accounts because doesn't have Online Banking setup for Credit Union
> HOW DO YOU TRANSFER MONEY BETWEEN ACCOUNTS?
> - Normally I would take money from one institution and go to another and deposit it there. I have Online Banking with the Bank, but I don't have Online Banking with Credit Union, so I'm unable to transfer between accounts.

| Money Mindset | [Balancers] |
- PREFERENCES:
- BANK:
- Ability to make transactions online from home
- Cashless
- Less risk than keeping money in cash
- CREDIT UNION:
- Higher interest rates
- Dividents every year
- Ease of getting a loan
- CASH:
- None, nada, niente, ничего, nichts... Except it's more convenient for other people
> WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY FOR YOU TO PAY SOMEONE?
> - I would like to say online transaction. So, I would prefer online platform to transfer money to the account that way, I don't even have to leave my home. Also I can always send them an email with transaction infromation so they can see that I sent over the money.
### Conveniences
- Wants to be able to make transactions online between accounts so doesn't have to leave home
> IF YOU DO SOMETHING NEXT TO YOUR MAIN JOB, HOW DO YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO PAY YOU?
> - I would say cash first, because that's easy for people or I would give them my account number to deposit into my account. I would prefer that they deposit it to my account, but I wouldn't mind cash because I know it is easier for most people.
### Frustrations
- CONS:
- BANK:
- Difficultie of getting a loan
- Long lines at the bank
- CREDIT UNION:
- None, nada, niente, ничего, nichts...
- CASH:
- Risk of money being stolen
- Tendency to misuse and overspend
- Likelihood of affecting savings
- Doesn't like to go into the institution to make a transfer
- Doesn't like to intearct with cash
### Money Management
- Uses Online Banking to keep track of spendings
- Has a diary where writes down where and how much money was spent
- Manages to save at least 9 out of 12 months a year
- Saving are kept separetly in the Credit Union
> HAS COVID-19 IMPACTED THE WAY YOU SAVE OR SPEND MONEY?
> - Yes, because of the COVID-19 there are different things that you need to purchase. For example, I don't need to drive to work so I could save money I would spend on gas. I could save more money and still be able to buy what I need. Sad to say, but COVID has impacted me positively in the money direction.
