Getting to know someone, their behavior, intentions behind their actions and understanding where is it all coming from is a long and complex process. We must dig deep. There are different things that play a significant role in human behavior. How do we know what has the biggest impact on us? Hopefully our research will resolve some of these enigmas.
While I was in University frist and most important thing while doing a research is to collect data. Once we do that we ask ourselves what can we do with it and how can we use it in order to create the most credible projection.
What we ask ourselves here at BED.MONEY: ''Is there a way to make it easier for people.'' Yes, there is!
Our main goal is to get the most valuable data from anyone who is willing to talk to us and help us help them. Question that might occur is how do we help them, well by focusing on every interviewees problems, conveniences, targets... We are collecting all the information that will help us understand the UX when it comes to financial institutions and their apps.
We won't be focusing only users we will also get designers and developers involved in the process. We will be asking the questions that they want answered. What are the challenges they would like to solve, what are the question they would like to be answered.
This research aims to figure out how people store, send, receive and interact with money. What are peoples motivations, frustrations and goals. Are there any differences in peoples behaviours based on their location, education?
## BED.MONEY Notes
## CASH vs CASHLESS
Further in this text we will be discussing why some user personas find it easier to manage their money when they have cash instead of using Mobile Money, Online Banking or Personal Bank Accounts.
When this persona was asked how do you keep track of all these different balances, where the money is coming from, how do you keep track of all these different accounts? The answer was:
> It is easy when it comes to the bank account. Why? Because they send you a message and an Email, so it's easy to see who is sending that money, what is the balance, the date and how much money you have left. How is that different from Online Banking and Digital Banking? Where you can actually login to your account and see entire transaction history.
Why is it easier for this persona to manage their money when they are paying in cash? It's understandable that some people might find it easier to keep track of how much money they are spending if they are not very technical, if they don't have the tendency to check their accounts online.
It is certain that we are moving forward and that we must go in step with our time. We can easily see that some percentage of people is refusing to adjust. Environment has a great impact on our behaviours. Do we do things because someone else is doing it? Is it the most convenient? Where do we go from here?
