# research objectives
1. understand experience.
2. i have na idea in mind and want to get a tempreature. want to get feedback on proposed idea, or experiement.
indepth interviews / diary studies, will get a indepth that can help you learn how to do surveys
in focus groups, if one or two users raise the same topic. we would create a survey to ask that specific questions.
- surveys are good at getting you a broader scope
round 2 of a survey or interviews.
- ask if they would be up for asking additional feedback.
when you ask how or why, try to gauge how much someone values it.
- a person might say i use the like button on facebook all the time
- how much you value the like button?
- you migth understand that usage is there but usage is not.
is the work to understand, or to fix something thats designed?
