This week @jamaal will be discussing his project around user research for the Bitcoin Core wallet, and importantly the topic of #PowerUsers in relation to bitcoin.

We'll be running a live commentary of the call down below 👇

2/. Great to see everyone's faces. Shout out to @conorokus for hosting. Here we go!

3/. So Jamaal is looking at the strategic design of the Bitcoin Core wallet, asking the important question of "who is it (bitcoin) for?"

4/. Figuring out the core group of "extreme" users for Bitcoin Core Wallet and what attitudes, values, and traits they hold. This inclusive form of design will in turn determine which problems need to be solved and in which order of importance for core users.

5/. Most core users value privacy above anything else, so how can we take this into consideration when designing a wallet?

6/. Jamaal will also be using:

- Ethnographic Interviews
- Sacrificial Concepts
- Surveys
- Card Sorting

to help him get to the heart of what matters to people (particurlarly "extreme" core users), avoiding premature validation of design questions, broadening data sets, and prioritising values and key features for the Bitcoin Core wallet.

7/. Creating personas and frameworks for potential users of the wallet (both extreme and new users) that enable inclusive design practises.
