# Steps to Make Player Avatars

This document describes how to make player avatars and how to save them.

## 1. Open the player list file

- Open the daily to-be-added-player list in csv file (ex. Football-2023-05-19.csv)
- This includes the player list like this: 

## 2. Find and download the player headshot photo

- For each player, find the real headshot photo via Google, Wikipedia, or other sources.
- For example, the football player Khalifah Aldawsari's headshot photo be like:
- The photo must show the whole face and a direct look at the camera, with eyes open and clear. This is a **BAD** example:

## 3. Crop the size

- Photo should be SQUARE (same width and height)
- If not, crop it:
- Crop the size with **https://www.iloveimg.com/crop-image**.

## 4. Make Comic styled player avatar

- Use **https://toonify.photos/**
- Select your transformation: **`Comic SD`**
- License key: 505946CC-30E14EB3-84F084F3-340ED09A
- Result looks like:

## 5. Remove background

- Remove background with **https://www.remove.bg/upload**
- For example:

## 6. Check photo quality
- Check if the player's head, hair and face are completed
- BAD example:

## 7. Save the file and upload

- Save the file
- file name: **`playerId`** from the player list
- For example: 22637.png
- file format: png
- size: below 300KB
- Upload the file

- Put the imgage to the "football" or "cricket" folder, depending on which sport this player plays
