## Blockchain Commons Summer Internship 2020 Weekly Report - Week X - Christian Murray

### Summary of Work Done
This week I have focussed primarily on cleaning up Spotbit's code, making small improvements, and getting ready to create the first alpha release.
This has included:
* removing redundant code
* consolidating if-else logic
* trying to make the code more readable
* changing use of `.format` to f-strings
* fixed lingering bugs related to multithreading
* upgraded my raspberry pi node
* submitted PR from development-signed to master in order to create the first alpha release, 0.1
