# Gordian Cosigner - User Stories 1. Bob is a hodler and wants to more securely store his bitcoin in a multisig setup. Bob owns a macbook, iphone and a coldcard. - Bob uses GC on his iphone to create one seed - Bob sends his xpub to GC on his Mac - Bob then uses GC on his macbook to create a different seed, to be saved on his mac - Bob exports his xpub and origin info from the Coldcard to add the third keyset to GC on both devices. - Bob uses all three xpub to create 2 of 3 policy map. - Bob saves each keyset on both the iphone and mac labelling them as devices. - Bob adds each keyset to the policy map to create an account map. - Bob exports the account map to GW to create the watchonly wallet on his node, he can then export the account to his Coldcard as well which acts as a signer of last resort. - Now when Bob wants to spend his bitcoin he needs two devices to authorize the transaction with no one device ever being able to spend. 2. Alice and Bob are husband and wife, they want to create a joint account in the form of a 2 of 2 multisig wallet to more securely store their bitcoins. - Alice uses GC to create a seed, derive a keyset and create a partial account map. - Bob does the same. - They each share their seeds keyset with each other to complete their accounts. - From that point they each import their account into GW, using GC on both their iOS device and macOS device to sign and share the psbt's between each other, transferring the signed raw tx to GW for broadcasting. 3. Bob is the CFO of a marketing company which charges their clients in btc. He would like to utilize multisig to more securely store the company earnings. - Bob creates 5 seeds on GC and a 3 of 5 account map with the keysets derived from those seeds. - Bob shares one seed with the CEO and another with the Founder so that all three top level associates must sign to spend funds. They each have a copy of the complete account map so that they may initiate transactions and see balances. - Bob hands his employees all the *same* seed so that they can be redundant signers in case one of the top executives loses their seed or worse. The employees do not get a copy of the Account Map so they can not see balances or initiate transactions, they simply act as redundancy. - Bob assigns the final seed to the company lawyer to keep in safe keeping.
