--- title: Letter for Lightning Reviewers tags: letters robots: noindex, nofollow --- Dear Friends, Blockchain Commons has recently begun to expand its "Learning Bitcoin from the Command Line" course to include other related command-line programs. The first of these (and one that we've planned from the start) is Lightning, with a focus on Blockstream's c-lightning implementation. We've checked and double-checked all of our command-line work, but we'd love to improve the chapters even more by getting your review. The most important thing to check is our descriptions, definitions, and overviews of Lightning, but we'd also of course want to know if any of our procedures are wonky or use the utilities in a weird way. If you can review, we just need you to look at the two chapters focused on Lightning: Chapter 18 [setup]: https://github.com/BlockchainCommons/Learning-Bitcoin-from-the-Command-Line/blob/master/18_0_Understanding_Your_Lightning_Setup.md Chapter 19: [usage]: https://github.com/BlockchainCommons/Learning-Bitcoin-from-the-Command-Line/blob/master/19_0_Using_Lightning.md We're happy to receive PRs, issues, or personal notes, as you prefer. Thank you! These chapters are primarily the work of one of our interns, Javier Vargas, with editing and expansion from Shannon Appelcline. Christopher Allen<br> Blockchain Commons
