Blockchain Commons is dedicated to the realization of open infrastructure for secure, compassionate, decentralized systems.

### Role

The Development Manager reports directly to Christopher Allen, founder of Blockchain Commons. The position is for two cycles (4 months) on contract.

### Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategies for the identification and cultivation of viable funding prospects (individual donors, foundations, companies), and new product monetization (subscriptions, one time product sales, services).
2. Maintain a diversified and robust pipeline of opportunities, (quantification, CRM, existing patrons).
3. Support preparation, execution and follow-up with prospecting opportunities (including grant proposals).
4. Monitor progress to achieve revenue goals, including monthly and ad-hoc progress reports.

### Goals

1. Fundraising target of $400,000 (or ~20 BTC) in recurring revenue.
2. Standardization of methodologies and process for prospecting.

### Concerns

Potentially a volunteer role longer term.
