Go to `preferences > sharing` 2. Enable `File Sharing` option! <img src="https://i.imgur.com/h2uEcZ6.png" alt="drawing" width="200"/> 3. Add a folder by clicking the `+` icon under `Shared Folders`. 4. Double check the users, give your logged in user `Read & Write` access if it already doesn't have it. 5. Apply changes. 6. Take note of the url printed after turning on the service, for example: `smb://mymacbook`. We will make use of `smb` protocol to connect<sup>1</sup>. 7. Under `Users:` take note of your username. ## Step Two, Connect with PC 1. Open `This PC` or `File Explorer`, whatever it is called. ![](https://i.imgur.com/4ufK7k2.png) 2.
