## Experiment Layout and Detailing ### The Criteria which will be change during experiment a) We will vary the applied pressure above 1 bar to 5 bar, intially because bubble will be generated by probe sonicator, we can go pressure above 5 bar. b) Mass flow rate of liquid can control by rotameter, rotating knob 0.2-2 LPM. c) Power Supplied to probe sonicator from the generator We can set at 250,500,750 and 1000 watt respectively. d) We can vary nozzle diameter from 0.5-1mm range, to keep nozzle length small so that all bubble can pass from the exit of nozzle, so total length is around 7-8 mm and cone angle is around 114-120. cylindrical portion length is around 0.5-1mm. e) We can vary the gap between nozzle and probe tip, this length can be vary by different shape of acylic transparent flange(0-5bar)and brass flange(above 5 bar), because at higher pressure(above 5 bar) acylic flange start melting so we need to use metalic flange. ### Experimental results we will try to obtain a) sauter mean diameter(S.M.D) b) Spray Cone Angle wrt nozzle diameter and applied pressure c)Droplet Size Distribution d) Jet Breakup Length vs jet velocity e) Discharge Coefficient of nozzle f) Spray cone half angle variation with applied pressure g) Droplet axial velocity h) S.M.D at radial as well as axial location i) Modes of disintegration(1st wind, 2nd wind, atomization(Oh vs Re)
