# What we want new Mali residents to do

## Details

### 1. All roads lead to Mali ( improve roads to Mali )
Develop ice roads in the nether to provide transportation for those who cannot TP to Mali, to transport mobs, and to enable quick travel to nearby towns.
When you enter the nether gate near /n spawn mali, there is already the ice road on y119 that stretches east, west, north, south, and west, so please improve around this ice road.
- Build stations/gates at key locations/towns.
- Put up signs for guide.
- Make the ice road easier to find.
- Mob spawn proofing.
- Repair broken roads.
- If the road is highly damaged, open a ticket and report it to the EMC stuｙff.
- Find and connect other existing ice roads.
- Create a map image and share it in discord.
- Create a road that can be seen from the dynamap even in the overworld, and create a nether gate to connect it to the ice road.

### 2. Support restock our shop
Our shop at `/n spawn mali` also has a Buying shop.
When you find green letter buying shop signs that accepting buying, please get the item and sell it here.
If you find a cheaper shop in another nation, you can resell the item from there.
There are also special buying such as bulk buying, enchanted gear buying, potion buying.
Please also check the Mali Shop Discord.

### 3. Research other shop's prices
If you find a shop that sells a certain item at a lower price than Mali and in large quantities, please report it to us.
If Mali buys the item at a higher price than the selling price there, you can buy it from there and sell it in Mali.
It is also interesting to go to various nations with ``/n spawn [nation name]`` and look for good shops while sightseeing.

### 4. Find other interesting EMC communities and events/projects to join or introduce it to us.
There are various EMC-related community servers on Discord that organize events and projects.
Server links are often posted on the [EMC official Discord](https://discord.gg/earthmc-the-minecraft-earth-server-219863747248914433), so go take a look.
If you find something that looks interesting, join it or introduce it to us.
We may to help with gold and supplies for things that look interesting.
We are not that good at English and it is a bit hard to get into English speaking communities, so we would recommend this to those who are good at English.

### 5. Create a new town belonging to Mali
When you got some gold and supplies and want to have more land to us as you like, you can create your own town. (Since the land is limited in the Mali capital and cannot be expanded any further)
If you want to build a town near the Mali capital and join Mali nation, we will help you with gold and basic supplies.

### 6. Invitation to the capital city and help with directions
With the upcoming update, larger towns will need to maintain a large population.
Invite newcomers to the server who have not yet joined the town and give them land, help them with basic gear, and explain this server to them.
