# 2023-05 Support Squad Meeting Agenda This is the agenda for the upcoming May 10, 2023 Support Squad meeting **Attendance** - Support Squad Mods (BryceGuy, Wassfila, Otterlord) - DX Team Lead (sarah11918) - Project Steward (fred) - Any support squad members **Updates** - Welcome `@Ian` - `@mandar1jn` is awesome, we now have a few new features in the discord - A `/docs` command for searching the docs within discord - A tag frequency bot for tag insights - A reminder about the AI support threads on inactive support threads **Kapa AI** - **Fred has cool updates** - How is it working? Is it working good? - Create some feedback on how Kapa could improve - Encourage likes and dislikes to improve the AI - if possible to get stats - ratio of support posts vs ai-support posts - stats of likes and dislikes **Astro 2.4** - Astro released v2.4 - Any problems? **Tags and Tag bot** - Does it need any other features/improvments? - tags pairs usage matrix - Discuss Tags - What tags are being used? - Do any tags need to be added/removed? (.astro format and .astro compiler related issues) **Tracking Support Squad Messages/Answers?** - `@mandar1jn` is (maybe?) designing a system to get support squad stats for astro.badg.es - concerns about biased point systems (stats are facts when correctly presented, but points might inherit a biased abstraction) - Need an OK from `@fks` to spin up the database needed to back this system (`@mandarijn` reached out in the bot DM thread) - ~~**Comment:** Sarah is unclear what these points are rating... support squad members? answers? threads? How do we add new support squad members? - Who in the community has been helping out but does not have a support squad role? **Automating Meeting Times** - If we can agree (generally) on a time that should work for the support mods, then Sarah will make a recurring Discord Event. - If we can't agree, then at least agree on the NEXT meeting time (which can be changed closer to time if necessary!) and Sarah will make a single Discord event NOW - The important thing is to begin to automate the "(when) should we hold a meeting" so that it doesn't slip through the cracks. Better to have something listed in Events that can be updated as necessary, but will serve as a prompt/reminder.
