Should it be more explicit (e.g. "new to Astro" and "how do I?" --suggested by Henri) Agenda Item 3: Support squad/patrol distinctions - is having the same role colour causing problems? "Find my error", "Spot the error" - Rename "Getting Started"? "Beginner Question" , "I am new" Some older closed threads get revived with questions that are not relevant to original thread - people should not post inside solved posts - redirect people to new threads - link old related threads for better discoverability There are currently 886 `support-squad` members, how do we mobilize them? - Create posts in #general encouraging squad members to help people find errors in their code Does support squad want to participate in Hacktoberfest? - Should solve a problem for the #support channel - How to get credits? - Do something like previous year with translations: 1. Squad member helps solve a problem 2. Squad member makes PR to a document saying they helped someone 3. Supports-patrol verifies they solved an issue and merges PR for hacktober credit - If a squad member helps somoene every day for the month they could get credit Does `support-patrol` role need more distinction from `support-squad`? - Patrol currently has a green badge - Choosing new colors for Discord roles is hard - `support-squad` role could be encouraged/included more instead of making the role appear less official
