## WHO is using the glossary?

- Users tired of searching stuff on Docs and Internet. They want simple and quick explanation to what they are after.

- Users new to Astro (or webdev) in general? (and want to get familiar with terms and definitions)

- Astro users that regularly read **translated** Astro docs, wanting to communicate in English but not sure what the English equivalent is. (Translated glossary page could have the English term next to translated term.)

- Astro docs readers that are not sure what an abbreviation means.

- Astro Docs writers wanting to maintain consistent use of all terminologies

- Users that heard a term on discord (or similar) and are unsure what it means (e.g. a dependency name, ...)

## Non-goals for the glossary.

- Replace the glossary for each i18n team. The glossary used by each i18n team could have generic words that are more useful to translators only.
