It's A Good Thing Indiana Jones 5 Will Face Nazis

It is expected that for, at least a portion of, Indiana Jones 5 Harrison Ford will be digitally de-aged so that he can portray a version of Indiana Jones that is similar in age and appearance to the original trilogy. This indicates that some of the runtime of Indiana Jones 5 could be dedicated to a WWII timeline with Indiana Jones fighting Nazis once again. Further information proving this setting is that extras were spotted on set dressed as Nazis, alongside Nazi symbols in set dressing, and the use of vintage cars.

It wouldn't be the first time in the franchise that a younger version of Indiana Jones is seen; River Phoenix played a teenage version of the character at the beginning of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alongside these WWII-set scenes in Indiana Jones 5 could be a more contemporary Indiana Jones fighting against Neo-Nazis and fascists later on in the 20th century. After all, the Nazis and Fascism did not completely go away with the end of World War II, and a film such as Indiana Jones 5 depicting the ongoing fight against them still relays an important message.
