# **Week 17 at Blockfuse Labs: Building Eterna, Faith Meets Web3**
Week 17 at **Blockfuse Labs** has been one of my most defining weeks yet. The atmosphere was charged with creativity, purpose, and collaboration as every builder pushed their projects closer to life. For me, this week was all about **Eterna** a decentralized faith-based platform where preachers and listeners connect freely without censorship.
From the start of the week, I made it my mission to turn Eterna’s vision into something tangible. The days were filled with refining the UI, testing smart contracts, and connecting all the moving pieces together. But more than just writing code, this week was about learning, adapting, and building with intention.
# A Week of Progress and Faith
Eterna is built around one core idea faith should never be censored. While many platforms restrict or limit faith-based content, Eterna uses Web3 technology to give creators ownership of their sermons and connect directly with their audience.
Throughout the week, I focused on improving both the listener experience and the creator tools. I implemented sermon uploads, integrated wallet connections, and refined the NFT minting and tipping systems so that preachers can earn transparently while sharing their message.
One of my favorite moments this week was getting the audio player and reels feature working together. Seeing faith-based content come alive in a modern, interactive interface reminded me why I started this project to create a platform where spirituality and technology coexist.
# Collaboration and Growth
The best part of being at Blockfuse Labs is the community. Every conversation, code review, and feedback session helped me see Eterna from new perspectives. I learned new Solidity testing practices using Foundry and deepened my understanding of building scalable backends with Laravel and MySQL.
Whenever I got stuck whether debugging contract inheritance issues or configuring storage in the mobile app there was always someone ready to help. That sense of collaboration made the process both rewarding and inspiring.
# Looking Ahead
As Week 17 wraps up, Eterna feels more alive than ever. The foundations are strong, and the vision is clearer:
> To empower faith-based creators to share their message freely through decentralized technology.
Week 17 reminded me that at Blockfuse Labs, we’re not just building apps we’re building possibilities.
