# Spring 2022: 1st Meeting Meeting Days: - Saturday, 12pm -- whenever (usually only 1-2 hours) - Sometime during the week -- still figuring this out, will probably be Tuesday 6-7pm Action Items: - [ ] Complete BIDC quizzes for access - [ ] Fill out when2meet and Google Form for roster (old and new students) ### Onboarding Project: Each student will create a motor mount, using either the CNC process, or 3D printing it in our assembly area in BIDC. We have all the files needed to accomplish this. *I recommend hardware-interested students to go through the process at BIDC and CNC the motor mounts, however, I understand that this is a long process and not everyone has the time to do it.* #### CNC: - Get added to ARC Fusion 360 group to access the files needed - Create CAM for CNC process - Get a consultation at Bechtel and set up a time to go into the shop and get it milled - It's best to plan about 3-4 hours for this especially if you are new to the whole process, but you can break it up onto different days #### 3D Printed - Get added to ARC Fusion 360 group to access the files needed - Use Ultimaker Cura to splice model and set infill etc. - Print using 3D printer in BIDC assembly space - Still figuring out whether we should use PLA or switch to PETG based on ability to withstand high temperatures (should be figured out by Saturday, January 29)
