--- title: Meeting Notes 11/01/21 tags: meeting-notes --- # Meeting Notes 11/01/21 ### Software - color detection because edge detection isn't working too well despite blurring - voice recognition hardcode fix for cases where the 2 gets placed in the first square rather than as a "to" ### Software Saturday Meeting - LEDs on robot for edge detection purposes, but they're all the same color - Place chess pieces on top of the robots so humans can see it ### Hardware - Started machining the bracket out of aluminium, not completed yet. - started the print for the second version of the bracket on Tony (the #D printer) (purple yay) - Going forward: - finish machining on aluminium (bandsaw to cut off rest of aluminium, then drill holes) - test the two kinds of brackets to decide which will be best for the rest of the robots - wheels! 3d print if cost effective? drill through an existing wheel.
