###### tags: `meeting-notes` # In-person Meeting 4 #### Date: 11/17/2021 #### Location: Room 238, Krach Leadership Center ## Goals <ul> <li> Take progress of Rugved's finger design and make hardware to start designing the protohand for design to be ready by Friday, 11/20/2021 </li> <li> Make software to start working on servoing in person ASAP, TinkerCAD simulation setup </li> <li> Finalize design for protohand and work towards it </li> <li> Start taking rough measurements and program measurements to move to certain keys before acquiring funding via PESC </li> </ul> <hr> ### Hardware: #### Updates/Tasks <li> Rugved and @R-chis to start working on the CAD for the protohand </li> <li> Measurements for the protohand taken, used for the protohand </li> <li> Use links and resources from the chat to reference joints and links </li> <li> The string / linking elastic thread has been discussed - the elastic one would be on the bottom of the fingers and the non-elastic one would be on the top (diagram as discussed in the chat) </li> ### Software #### Updates/Tasks <li> Software started working on the servoing with the TinkerCAD simulator </li> <li> Measurements of keys, fingers and the protohand noted and used for the code </li> <li> Team to start working on trying to reach all keys in one octave via the simulator using projected values </li> ### Notes <ol> <li> Number of projected servos is 6: 5 for the fingers, 1 for rotation along the plane of the hand base </li> <li> Values are to be commonly integrated with hardware and software (actual values are in the chat channels) </li> </ol>
