# VPROD 5/2/22 ### Discussing Avatar Systems - difficulty of having to manually attach wearables after purchase - some users might not be able to or know how - make it so its automatic and frictionless - bone structures - is there any way to gracefully unify bone systems? - sith says brute force can be done but it wouldnt be graceful - jin discussing pets - flying pets easiest to implement - obstacles minimized - teleporting possible as well (sith) - boombox: how to have reference of size compared to wearable? what is general unit of scale? - play canvass -- avatars need same size / skeleton for sith to use them - idea of sith's 3d website w/ avatars there behind the desk being actually live people in VR ### DeWork (Jin wants to review) - filling out some tasks and tagging people - world design: boombox's - sith: what worlds are you creating? - boombox: camera system in vrc + screens/lighting - sith: not playcanvass? - two different things -- studio is one, playcanvass is another. - jin: avatars can be ported between them - sith: is recording of environment or the environment itself the deliverable for metafactory? - jin: both. the environment itself, documentation, content, etc. its about getting content out while building something to continually produce more content - sith: do we need vrc studio in playcanvass (no) - jin: the only thing we need for playcanvass is setting up the 3d storefront environment - sith: do we need 3d for each garment or is it something 2d that they will be clicking on? - for playcanvass sith would need wearables rigged to exact model ### Goals for this week - this proposal is to make good content and create pipelines to streamline future content production - equip avatars with vrc lens for best shooting - progress on store front and vr studio - start shooting content... we need robot model ready to do this? - jin: imagine making content and fading in and out between virtual and digital perspectives - jin: lets start documenting our digital adventures in video form
