# Production Pipeline
## Individual production log
### Love Shock
---
At the start of the first week we created a moodboard for the inspiration of each character. This was led by our project lead, Holly, who explained what vibe she wanted each of the characters to have, along with how old they should be. I was given the task of creating the concept art for the kettle, oven and blender, as well as creating some of the animals for the pet shop where the main character Morgan works. When given our individual tasks we decided as a group to make the deadline for our concept art the 17/12/2022, which gave us time to look at what each of us had done and make any changes if necessary. Furthermore, I ended up creating the fridge freezer to help out another member of the group to ensure we met the deadlines. After said deadline, myself, Holly and Rachel joined a group call and discussed all of the finer details of the game and added it to the group MD.

#### Oven
Completion date: 09/11/2022
Hours spent: 4hrs
When designing the oven I wanted to stay as close to the images on the moodboard as possible, so I picked the most repeating themes from the images displayed. I made the oven blonde and gave her a leopard print top with a pose which I thought would suit her personality. It was hard to get the proportions right for the pose but overall I am happy with how it turned out.
#### Blender
Completion date: 05/12/2022
hours spent: 4hrs
The blender was supposed to be gruff and rough around the edges, but caring once you get to know him. Because of this I wanted to give him a bit of stubble to try give him more of a rough vibe, as I felt without it he had more of a baby face that didn't suit his demeanor. I also felt that the partially opened shirt made him look more relaxed.
#### kettle
Completion date: 12/12/2022
hours spent: 3hrs
The inspiration images gathered for the kettle depict her as being an older lady, however the character sheet states that her current age is 53, which is substancially different. After having a discusion with Holly we decided to show her as the character sheet age rather than going off the images, although there were certain aspects which I was still able to use from the images. When deciding what clothes she should wear, I took inspiration from the older members of my family and decided to give her a long skirt and a cream blouse.
#### fridge freezer
Completion date: 16/12/2022
hours spent: 2hrs
Because I started this character late, after offering to create them due to someone else being unable to, It ended up a lot more rushed than I would have preferred, esspecially since it is essentially two characters combined with two completely different personalities. If given the time I would've liked to work on their faces more and add more details to show the two opposing personalities.

#### Cat
Completion date: 27/11/2022
Hours spent: 6hrs
When creating the cat it took a couple hours to try and figure out how to create the effect of the fur. I watched multiple videos to try and recreate the texture and this was my final outcome. I made the fur on the face smaller and darker to try make a better contrast between the face and body. Our project lead said that she visioned a 'secret life of pets' style for the animals in the pet shop. I tryed to create my animals as close to that style as I could to the best of my ability.
---
#### Fish
Completion date: 16/12/2022
Hours spent: 4hrs
The goldfish took a lot longer than I thought it would have as I lost my original save so I had to start over again. I also had to add all the details of the scales which took up most of my time on this piece. After creating the fish I decided to give them a simplistic fish bowl so the fish would stand out more than its surroundings.
---
#### Gerbil
Completion date: 03/12/2022
Hours spent: 3hrs
After the research I conducted on fur for the cat it was quicker and easier to create the gerbils fur. However, if I had longer to create the gerbil I would have added brighter tones to make him stand out more and have more highlights throughout.
