# Contrib Summit 2022.10 - Eventbrite description ###### tags: `contributor summit` ## Ansible Contributor Summit 2022.10 (pre-registration) ### Pre-registration for Ansible Contributor Summit 2022.10 as part of AnsibleFest 2022. ## About this event The **Ansible Contributor Summit** is a full day of working sessions with the Ansible community team and contributors in the community. We will be having this hybrid event with the in-person component as part of **[AnsibleFest 2022](https://www.ansible.com/ansiblefest) in Chicago**, plus an **online option**! It will be on **Monday, October 17** (time and agenda TBD, expect it to be a full day event based on Central Daylight Time in the US). In this event, we will discuss important issues affecting the Ansible community, with a focus on improving collaboration with our contributors. While we are excited to see some of you in person, we are mindful that many of our wonderful community members will not be able to travel, or prefer to attend online. As with the Contributor Summits we've had in the past, even prior to 2020, we will include the option for you to join virtually via video conferencing and online chat. **Please pre-register on Eventbrite:** 1. If you plan to attend in Chicago, please select the **"in person" ticket** during pre-registration. Your email will be added to a list which will allow you to register for the Contributor Summit as an add-on event to AnsibleFest 2022. We will send you a notification when AnsibleFest registrations start. (Even if you're not 100% sure you will be attending in person, select this option so that you will be able to register for Contributor Summit as part of AnsibleFest. You will also get the updates that we share to the online participants.) 2. If you plan to attend virtually, please select the **"online" ticket** during pre-registration. We will contact you with updates, how you can contribute to the agenda, and the video stream and chat links when they are available.
