# Demo: Let's build ansible 6.0.0a1

The [Ansible 6 roadmap](https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/devel/roadmap/COLLECTIONS_6.html), drafted long ago already, had our first alpha for Ansible 6 scheduled on April 12th.

There's no reason to delay it because we happened to schedule the contributor summit on the same day !

Let's take this opportunity to do it live while explaining how it's made.
