The Closest Spot to Taipei, Perfect for Beginners and offers easy accessibility. The area is rich in marine life, including the chance to spot cuttlefish.

Kenting is a bit further from Taipei, and we suggest allocating three days for your stay. The area has abundant marine life and is home to stunning coral reefs, sandy beaches, and vacation resorts.
### 3. Xiao Liuqiu: An Island Destination Full of sea turtles
This spot requires a 20-minute ferry ride from the mainland. Therefore, it’s better to allocate three days for your stay. The area is full of marine life, including many sea turtles, and offers a variety of water sports. Many barbecue spots also make it an excellent destination for families.

When planning your trip, we suggest booking a local diving shop with certified instructors to guide you through the ocean. Taiwan has many excellent diving shops and instructors who provide equipment and safety education to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
