--- tags: NLA --- # Sybren's feedback on Marion's NLA proposal Marion Stalke showed her design proposal to improve the NLA. This is my feedback. ## Editor Dependency & Tweak Mode confusion ![](https://i.imgur.com/Boa8lG3.png) I like the visual connection between the editors, by using the colours. However, this doesn't seem to fully solve the issue Marion addressed, where it's unclear where to edit the Action when in tweak mode. Well, sort of, because there is no more 'tweak mode', but if the Action editor isn't there, the new situation also doesn't show that you need it. Having said that, I still see the proposal as an improvement, as you only need to select in the NLA. No longer having to enter 'tweak mode' there, which changes the visual appearance but still doesn't allow you to edit right there, is nice.
