# Living with Machines poster session
May 11th 2022
Living with Machines is one of the UK’s most ambitious humanities and data science projects. With a strong collaborative approach, it brings together data scientists, RSEs, historians, computational linguists, curators and a number of other specialists to work on the impact of the industrial revolution in the lives of ordinary people. LWM is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) through the Strategic Priorities Fund.
This poster session is designed to create an opportunity for our Turing and British Library colleagues to get insights into the project and we are looking forward to discuss our ideas, hopes and challenges with you.
It will run physically at the Turing office (1st floor, Enigma room), and **[UPDATE] unfortunately we won't be able to run it remotely. After testing the microphones and cameras we have available it didn't seem that we would be able to provide a good enough experience for a remote audience as the background noise and limited switch controls would not support well multiple conversations.**
You can still chat to us on [Twitter](@LivingwMachines
) and on our [website](https://livingwithmachines.ac.uk/).
Thanks for your interest in the project and we hope to see you soon at other opportunities.
**The Living with Machines team.**
