If you have crashes: reorder your mods. Installing mods in MultiMC: edit instance -> Version -> Add to Minecraft.jar, modloader mods go into .minecraft/mods ### Multiplayer quality of life - Optifine_1_7_3_HD_G - Depth Buffer Fix (fix of ripples on clouds for ATI/AMD) - ZanMinimap 0.10.4 (minimap with waypoints) - Improved Chat 2.4.7 (copy-paste, tweaks) - Convenient Inventory 1.9 (shift-click, invmanagment) - Beta Skin Fix (optional, find newest one) - Beta custom sounds fix (purist only, needs sounds) - WorldDL (optional) ### Singleplayer quality of life Those mods above, plus: - Optitick 1.0 (may improve singleplayer) - Farlands Jitter Fix (only if you travel to very big coords) ### Going deeper - Modloader (popular modloader) - Singleplayercommand 2.11.1 - TooManyItems 2011_07_01 - Mathmos_r5 (ambience) ### Modpacks Those are only starter mods, there are MUCH MORE. "Niddhoggr" - cracked MultiMC 5 for Windows - the only OS that matters by Another Anon - version 0.2 Updated to MultiMC 0.6.2. Built with Windows How to play: just put whatever you want as login and password, it should run fine. To replicate the cracking: follow MultiMC5's BUILD.md. When the source is downloaded, open the files RefreshTask.cpp, AuthenticateTask.cpp and YggdrasilTask.cpp. There, find and replace any instance of changeState(STATE_FAILED_HARD, tr("whatever crappy error message was written here"));
