# Ethereum Protocol Fellowship Update - Week 7 ## Last Week Over the past week, I've been working on a Proof of Concept (PoC) for the Prysm validator. I began by adding new methods to the Prysm validator RPC and also included the execution payload. Most of my time was spent reading documentation, understanding the architecture, and learning how the beacon node and validator are separated. I focused on finding the right place to add the new methods. You can check my progress in the draft pull request I've opened on the Prysm repository on GitHub. ## Next Week Next week, I plan to seek feedback from mentors to validate my design decisions or adjust them if necessary. Once I have their input, I'll start implementing the methods and will test them as I go. My goal is to ensure that the new methods work seamlessly within the existing Prysm architecture. I'll continue to document my progress and challenges along the way to keep everyone informed. ## Resources [PoC on Prysm](https://github.com/prysmaticlabs/prysm/pull/14267)
