# FREE ONLINE CONTENT CREATION TOOLS THAT WILL CHANGE THE GAME FOR YOU!
As a serious and commited content creator, you will need different tools that make your work easier.Working online is not easy without these assisting tools.

In this blog we will be sharing some free tools for you as a content creator. Some of them are available online and some are downloadable apps.
## 1. Canva.
[Canva](https://www.canva.com/) is a very common and good alternative, especially if you don't want to learn Photoshop. Of course, there Photoshop functionalities that lack in Canva, however if you are a new content creator, and you want to just make simple graphics, or make presentations, templates and social media posts Canva already has these templates ready for you. Canva has always helped me easily create graphics such as thumbnails and social media content. If you're a content creator, please check out Canva sign up for the free version to test play with it from here and there. Once you learn how to exactly use the tools and to use the elements in Canva, people will not be able to tell that you made your graphics using Canva. And there's nothing wrong with that. It’s actually such a nice tool for every content creator.
## 2. [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/images/search/link/) and [Unsplash](https://unsplash.com).
Images are very important when it comes to graphic design and content creation in general, say for example, you're creating a proposal and you want to use a stock footage or stock images, you can get them from pixabay or unsplash, and all those others, royalty free platforms where you can get images for free. There are many amazing images from the huge unsplash database for free and you don't have to credit unless you feel like.

## 3. [MailChimp](https://mailchimp.com).
MailChimp is also a great mailing tool because it has really helped us mail different people different subscriber groups that we have. So, for example, we have a [branding consultation](https://attisfire.com/blogging/) and we want to share some branding emails with the people who subscribe to that consultation or a weekly newsletter.
MailChimp allows you to bundle different emails into what they call lists, and you can choose to send different campaigns or emails to these specific lists. They have a free version and you can find different pricing options on their website. There are so many other options for mailing lists but if you're starting out as a content creator, then you can start with MailChimp and see how it works.

## 4. [Zoom](https://zoom.com)
Zoom has become a popular communication platform, especially after we were locked down for a whole year everybody was using zoom.
Now, let's say you're a content creator and you want to interview for other content creators or you want to have virtual meetings with brands.
Zoom allows you to do that very easily and that’s something that I would recommend to every content creator to at least have a zoom account. You never know when somebody will approach you for a collaboration or opportunity and send out a zoom.

## 5. [Trello](https://trello.com).
Trello is an app that has helped me organise so many things in my life. By now, I've tagged them so many times on Twitter they should probabaly block me. I have much love for this app.
In fact, I have even organised a personal event on Trello, I have organised my shopping lists for every week on Trello.
I also organise my food intakes, my content calendar, my work tasks and my accountability partners all on Trello, the application just gives me so much joy because it has all systems of my life.

## 6. [Evernote.](https://evernote.com)
Evernote helps you write down notes from anywhere and also has so much featurs and functionality. Ive used it a lot and in fact I'm an Evernote certified consultant. It’s one of those apps that I feel every content creator needs to have.
So for example, you are in the fashion world and you're out there collecting content and you don’t have a notebook, such an app like Evernote will help you take notes, photos and pdfs you can then save all that under a certain workbook.
## 7. [Pinterest.](https://pinterest.com)
Pinterest is such a nice hub for information imagery. One thing I love about Pinterest, it's like social media without the social. On Pinterest you are not obligated to follow people like Instagram. Pinterest really helps me discover so much information that has been aggregated there.
You can also discover so many fun tips like decorating your house, content ideas, food recipes, style ideas, financial advice. Etc.
I'm sure the content in whatever field you are in or in your niche is available on Pinterest so make sure you check that out.

## 8. [Grammarly.](https://grammarly.com)
Grammarly is such a nice tool to have it spot, typos, grammar mistakes, and even some mistakes that you never know like missing commas, where commas are supposed to be and capitalizations
I've been using this since 2013. When I was an academic writer, I did so much writing after campus that Grammarly became something that is always an extension on my Chrome browser
It is able to identify random spelling mistakes it helps your writing be so great in this age of content creation, especially written content. As a content creator you must make sure at least your written content is well checked and has good grammar.
These are the tools I felt were necessary for every content creator. If you have other tools that you feel like I should have included here or any questions, you can always contact me. I'll be posting such kind of tips for content creators’ freelancers, and I'll be sharing them with you.
