# Manage your Alkemio platform notifications in your email
As you become more active on the Alkemio platform, you might receive more platform notifications. To make sure you can keep track of the most relevant notifications, here's a small tutorial on how to manage your inbox.
## Step 1: Create folders
In the left hand side of Outlook (app or online), you see folders. Add the following folder:
"Alkemio notifications"
with subsequent subfolders:
"Applications"
"Callouts"
"Cards"
"New users"
"Other"
> Receiving new user info requires an admin status, so this one is not applicable to everyone

## Step 2: Set rules
Now it's time to make sure that the emails you receive are automatically placed in the right folder. It depends on the application you use for email + whether you're part of the Alkemio SharePoint which of the following two methods is suitable for you.
### A. Using the Outlook app (only for Alkemio team members)
If you're using the Outlook app, the process if fairly simple.
1. Go to 'File', 'Manage Rules & Alerts', 'Options', 'Import Rules...'
2. Open the file [RulesAlkemioMailbox](https://stichtingcherrytwist.sharepoint.com/:u:/s/Contributors/EY76gBmVBRdGl8pBwKKkdBQBBYHX7aNR0TCq1qrPZ2yzAg?e=PgojDG)
### B. Using outlook.office.com
The process using the online version of outlook requires a bit more manual work than method A.
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. Search for 'Inbox Rules'
3. Add the following New Rules, in the indicated order
