--- tags: Product --- # User guidance ### FAQ Why Alkemio? * *Question:* How can I make sure people will join my challenge? *Answer:* Each Hub, Challenge and Opportunity has a share button that generates a link to the dashboard page of the journey. You can share these links with your community to invite them. It is also possible to share the content, such as Callouts, Canvases and Cards. Keep in mind, that the visibility depends on whether your hub is public or private. (Community activation could be blog material, how do you make the community active, engage them etc.) * *Question:* Can I create a Hub on my own? *Answer:* You cannot create a Hub on your own but you can contact us and we can create it with you and guide you in the process. * *Question:* What's the meaning behind the name of this platform? (check the blog post on the origin of the name and reformulate this answer) https://www.alkemio.foundation/post/2021-06-new-name/ *Answer:* Alkemio comes from the idea that to create something good that works there is a need of mixing different elements. Our new name reflects that solving complex challenges needs a mix of knowledge, collaboration, creativity, dedication and some magic.Alkemio started from an idea and some core values attached to it. The idea was to create an innovative web space where people can interact and cooperate on things they share interests in. The core values and purpose are explained in the Foundation page. After consultign that page you will understand what do we stand for and what we want to achieve. * *Question:* What services does Alkemio offer? (add the specific services by looking at slides) *Answer:* Alkemio offers the possibility to create, share and get knowledge on topics that are meaningful to more than one person and it gives you the tools to connect with those people and figure out solutions together. The platform fulfils three functions: challenge management, social network and marketplace. Through these functions users willing to cooperate will be able to connect, coomunicate and cooperate to solve common challenges. Facing big challenges within a community increases the chances of solvig the issues. * *Question:* How can you tackle the big challenges effectively? *Answer:* Examples of something concrete need to be shown (fake hub could help) * *Question:* What is a hub and how does it work? What is a Challenge? What's an opportunity? *Answer:* These answers shoudl be in the front page of the platform (they will be explained visually) * *Question:* If I am an individual how can I help wihtin the platform? *Answer:* The different functionalities based on the users should also be clarified. I am an individual so I can do this this and this. But if I am an organisation then I can do that this and that. So there is a need to differenciate the possible actions from different users (this will be included in the "persona issue") * *Question:* Is there a successful story that Alkemio can provide as a proof of having helped solving big challenges? *Answer:* For now there is not a usecase as far as I know. Therefore, there is a need to create a "fake story" and use it as a possible outcome from using the platfrom. ### Help / inspiration buttons * 1. I believe there should be a graphic rapresentation of the different core steps of this platform. The key concepts that need clarification from the first second a new user approaches the platfrom are Hubs, Challenges and Opportunities. What are these? And what can I do through them ones I understood the potential of the platform and its process. * 2. In the Alkemio foundation page there should be an inspiration button that explains what's the use of the foundation and explain the use of the platform as well (a distinction between the two pages needs to be made) * 3. An inspiration button could be added ### Guidance documents
