**HACK THIS SITE(HTS) SERIES OF BASIC CHALLENGES**
hello guys my name is alienkeric and am back again with HTS and today we are going to have a look on day 2 of basic web challenges

lets begin hackers here we go

**STEP 1**: login to your account and choose basic and then challenge number 2

**STEP 2** as the description says "Network Security Sam set up a password protection script. He made it load the real password from an unencrypted text file and compare it to the password the user enters. However, he neglected to upload the password file..."

**STEP 3** As usually, the main here is to check how the password field is works

Lets use developer tool and highlight the password field. And finally as you can see the password we submit seems is compared to blank password, but normally we expect that the password we submit should be compared to something for us to login


**STEP 4** now try to submit the blank password and observer if we can solve the challenge
