# PHRM7021 Slide Template Group: ==Enter your group number== Presenters: ==Enter presenters== --- # Instructions Everything is written in a version of [markdown](https://hackmd.io/features?both#Typography). Have a look at the [Slide example](/slide-example) for formating slides. There are more features than you need. In the next couple of slides I emphasise the key features you need. --- # Headers The title of the slide is made using header notation `# This is a level one header` `## This is a level two header` ... --- # Create slides Demarcate each slide by: `---` :::info At the start and the end---there needs to be a space either side. ::: --- # Additional slides You can place additional slides "down", by using: `----` (i.e. four dashes) While I do it here, I would use this sparingly (if at all) ---- You are likely to forget these slides. In the presentation mode, you there is an indicator in the bottom right of the page that lets you know there are additional slides. --- # Look at the text... A good way to learn the code is to have the "editor" and "viewer" side-by-side It won't take long to learn new tricks: :tada: --- ## Instert `png` files It is not hard to insert picture files. ![test2](https://www.dropbox.com/s/aigdo7lmddrf5mr/ADME-v4_EN.png?raw=1) ---- ## Picture test (2) ![test2](https://www.dropbox.com/s/v0yttvddq53jo2r/Screenshot%202019-06-19%2011.21.22.png?raw=1) ---- ## Picture test (3) ![Black Box](https://www.dropbox.com/s/0mhjz1ease32wxd/Screenshot%202019-06-14%2013.17.28.png?raw=1) ---- One of the frustrating things with images is that getting the size right on this platform can be tricky. Do what you can, and accept the imperfections. --- :::info You can include pictures from Dropbox or Google Drive, but you will need to modify the link. ::: This [link](https://www.mail-signatures.com/articles/direct-link-to-hosted-image/) explains what to do for different platforms. ---- For example for Dropbox, the link you get when you create a shared link is: `https://www.dropbox.com/s/owxnhnsdb3jv85b/Screenshot%202019-07-15%2012.23.24.png?dl=0` You need to change the ending, `dl=0`, to `raw=1` for the picture to display. ---- The markdown to display an image is the following: ```markdown ![image text](https://www.dropbox.com/s/owxnhnsdb3jv85b/Screenshot%202019-07-15%2012.23.24.png?raw=1) ``` ---- When you do this you get ![image text](https://www.dropbox.com/s/owxnhnsdb3jv85b/Screenshot%202019-07-15%2012.23.24.png?raw=1) --- # Viewing the slides To preview the slides, click the 'share' icon at the top of the page. Select `Slide mode` and click 'Preview'. You can also view, copy, link an url to the [presentation](https://hackmd.io/@alacaze/SJCO4KHWr). ---
