# senior SecDevOps engineer (remote)
[Helix Markets](https://www.helixmarkets.io/) is a high-speed, low latency exchange with many novel features, architectural traits and trade-offs!

This is a fully remote [SecDevOps](https://www.securitymagazine.com/articles/96811-secdevops-vs-devsecops-a-distinction-with-a-difference) position in an early-stage startup.

## main responsibilities

- design, deploy, and operate our core backend infrastructure in a secure and automated (“infrastructure as code”) fashion
- work closely with software developers
- document processes and solutions

## about you
You are
- a security practitioner with mad [opsec](https://www.techtarget.com/searchsecurity/definition/OPSEC-operations-security) skills
- a quick learner who functions well in a chaotic startup setting
- able to wear many hats and get stuff done with minimal supervision

## what you bring to the table
- solid written and spoken English
- at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- experience with
- kubernetes, docker and terraform + secrets management systems
- major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP etc.
- any two of the following: bash, python, go, rust
- CI/CD security
