## The event
- A single 4 hour session
- Topics: from intro to bleeding edge
- 1.5 hours for hands-on exercises
- Interactive computing via [![](https://i.imgur.com/hmreqfd.png =x100%) binder](https://mybinder.org/)

## Organizational remarks
- preparation takes 1-2 work days in total
- 95% pariticipants OK with online setting
- Online notebooks & hands-on sessions are great
- Q&A in breakout rooms works, but is chaotic
- 4 hours session is tough, should be shorter
- Balancing (slow/fast, easy/hard) is tricky
⇒ aim for variation

## Looking back
* Online workshops are useful and easy
* 100% would run one again
